学校简介 Introduction of GUET
桂林电子科技大学坐落于世界著名的风景游览城市和中国历史文化名城桂林市，是国家工业和信息化部与广西共建高校、国家“中西部高校基础能力建设工程”入选高校。学校开设有本科专业74个，其中，国家级一流专业建设点23个、通过工程教育认证专业19个(含住建部行业认证1个)、国家综合改革试点专业1个、国家级特色专业5个。硕士学位授权一级学科点21个，硕士专业学位授权类别12个;博士学位授权一级学科点8个，博士专业学位授权类别1个;博士后科研流动站4个。工程学、材料科学、计算机科学、化学四个学科进入ESI全球前1%。

Located in GUILIN city, the world famous scenic historical city, Guilin University of Electronic Technology named as GUET for short is founded in 1960, and jointly sponsored by the Ministry of Industry and information Technology and the government of Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region. GUET is also one of the nominated universities of “National Basic Ability Construction Project for Western and Central China” . GUET offers 74 bachelor programs including 23 national first-class programs, 19 programs have passed the certification of China Engineering Education Accreditation Association, 1 national comprehensive reform pilot program and 5 national characteristic programs, and 21 master programs for first level discipline. 12 authorized professional master's degree category. GUET also has 8 Ph.D programs for first leve discipline, authorized professional doctoral degree category; 4 post Ph.D academic research station. The disciplines of Engineering, Materia Science, computer Science and Chemistry have entered top 1% of the Essential Science Indicators (ESl) Rankings.
There are 3400 teachers and staff and about 41000 students working and studying at GUET. At present, GUET has established good cooperative relationships with more than 80 universities and academic institutions in“B&R coutries, Asia, Europe, the Americas Oceania and Africa. GUET selects and sponsors its outstanding teachers and students going abroad for a short or long term academic visit every year. 一、申请条件
▲ 基本条件
东盟国家公民，品行端正，身体健康，对中国友好，遵守中国的法律、法规和学校的规章制度。
▲ 学历要求
(1)申请攻读学士学位者，须具有高中学历。
(2)申请攻读硕士学位者，须具有学士学位，两封副教授及以上学者的推荐信、来华学习计划 (中文1000字以上，英文2500字以上)。
(3)申请攻读博士学位者，须具有硕士学位，两封副教授及以上学者的推荐信、来华学习计划(中文1000字以上，英文2500字以上)、需公开发表过高水平论文两篇及以上。
▲ 语言能力
(1)攻读中文授课的学生，汉语水平需达到HSK4级180分(含)以上，无HSK成绩则需汉补一年。
(2)攻读英文授课的学生，英文水平需达到雅思成绩6.0分以上或提供同等水平证明，无英语水平证明者，需通过我校组织的英语考试。

申请人均需参加入学考试 (笔试、面试合格成绩为75分)，且学业成绩、学术水平以及语言能力等条件须达到所申请专业的入学要求。
一、Application Requirements
▲ Basic Requirements
Citizen of ASEAN countries, of good moral character, in good health, friendly towards China, and compliant with Chinese laws, regulations, and school rules and regulations.
▲ Academic Qualifications
(1)Bachelor's Degree Applicants: Must hold a high school diploma.
(2)Master's Degree Applicants: Must hold a bachelor's degree, submit two recommendation letters from scholars of associate professor rank or higher, and provide a study plan (minimum 1,000 words in Chinese or 2,500 words in English).
(3)Doctoral Degree Applicants: Must hold a master's dearee, submit two recommendation etters from scholars of associate professor rank or higher, and provide a study plan (minimum 1,000 words in Chinese or 2,500 words in English), and have published at least two high-level academic papers.
▲ Language Proficiency
(1)Chinese-taught Programs: Chinese proficiency must meet HSK4 pass mark 180 above. Applicants without HSK certificate must complete one-year Chinese language preparatory course.
(2)English-taught Programs: English proficiency must meet IELTS 6.0 or equivalent. Applicants without English certification must pass an English proficiency test administered by the university.
▲ Entrance Examination
All applicants must take and pass the entrance examination (written test and interview with a minimum passing score of 75 marks). Academic performance, scholarly competence, language proficiency, and other qualifications must meet the admission requirements of the applied program.

四、Application and Admission
Visit the website at http://admission.guet.edu.cn/ to complete your registration and submit the required application materials. And name the electronic copy of student application materials as Specialized Scholarship Application - Passport Name - Program level - Intended Major and send it to the admissions officer via email at guet-overseas@guet.edu.cn. Paper documents are not required to be mailed.
