报告摘要：This talk will cover the development of portable capillary electrophoresis (CE) systems over the past 25 yearsin my group, focusing on CE fundamentals and miniaturized hardware for real-time, on-site analysis. Emphasis will be placed on the transition from benchtop workflows to field-deployable, sample-in/answer-out systems. Applications in forensics, healthcare, industry, and environmental monitoring will be highlighted, with case studies on explosives, illicit drugs, and water quality detection. Additionally, commercialized products, including deltaDOT and GreyScan ETD-100, will be introduced. Advancements in transient isotachophoresis (tITP), chemical vapor deposition (CVD), and new methods for enhancing sensitivity and selectivity will also be discussed, along with future trends in field-deployable analytical instruments.

报告人简介：Michael Breadmore教授，现任澳大利亚塔斯马尼亚大学教授，分析化学家。2001年在塔斯马尼亚大学获得博士学位，随后在美国弗吉尼亚大学和瑞士伯尔尼大学从事博士后研究。2004年返回塔斯马尼亚大学任教，先后获得澳大利亚研究理事会（ARC）多个优秀人才项目资助，包括 ARC Postdoctoral Fellowship、ARC QEII Fellowship 以及 ARC Future Fellowship，并于2018年晋升为终身教授。Breadmore教授长期致力于芯片实验室技术和小型化分析设备的研究，特别是在便携式毛细管电泳系统的开发方面，专注于开发适用于实时、现场分析的微型化仪器。他在Analytical Chemistry, Angewandte Chemie, Lab on a Chip 等国际主流期刊发表SCI论文270余篇，被引用近9000次，H指数为46。现为 Analytica Chimica Acta 编辑，同时也是多个知名国际会议（如 µTAS、APCE、HPLC）的组委会成员。2022年，他当选澳大利亚技术科学与工程院（ATSE）院士，并在2019年至2021年连续三年入选“全球100位有影响力分析科学家”榜单。
