2025 International Students’ Winter Vacation Safety and Stability Education Series Work Successfully Completed

To further implement the spirit of school vacation safety and stability work, and effectively carry out various safety education tasks for international students staying on campus or traveling during the vacation, so as to enhance their safety awareness, the Office of International Student Management of our college conducted various stability maintenance education and safety inspection work in the last week of the semester before the winter vacation.

On the afternoon of January 10, 2025, our college successfully held a comprehensive safety education meeting for international students during the vacation. Wu Renchao, Director of the Office of International Student Management, delivered a vivid safety education lesson to all international students. He emphasized that all international students should consciously abide by various Chinese laws, regulations, as well as school rules and disciplines while enjoying the Chinese Spring Festival vacation, and pay attention to protecting personal and property safety and other vacation safety matters. After the meeting, Director Wu Renchao led all international student counselors to visit international student apartments, conducted safety hazard inspections in dormitory areas before the vacation, and conducted home visits to all international students living off-campus on January 11, emphasizing safety precautions for living off-campus and conveying the school's care and solicitude.

This series of vacation safety education work fully reflects the importance attached by the school and the college to the education of international students studying in China and the safety and stability work during their vacation. It has put safety education into practice, enhanced international students' safety awareness, and enabled them to understand Chinese laws and school systems through practical actions, so as to jointly build a safety defense line and create a high-quality “Studying at GUET” brand.
