The International College’s International Student Dragon Boat Team Is Invited to Participate in the 2025 Guangxi·China-ASEAN Cities Dragon Boat Invitational Tournament

On May 31st, our college organized a dragon boat team consisting of over 60 international students from more than 10 countries including Vietnam, Thailand, Laos, Myanmar, Morocco, and Nigeria to participate in the 2025 Guangxi·Guilin (Lin’gui) China-ASEAN Cities Dragon Boat Invitational Tournament and experience the charm of traditional Chinese culture.

This competition primarily focused on cultural display. The international student dragon boat team, dressed in unified team uniforms, won resounding applause from the on-site audience. During the tournament, the students not only experienced the excitement of dragon boat racing but also participated in mountain song singing activities.

In the future, our college’s international student dragon boat team will continue to use dragon boats as a medium to attract more international youth to participate in cultural exchange activities, allowing Chinese stories to reach a broader global stage through the firsthand experiences of international students.
