Our University Holds the 5th International Cultural Festival for International Students in China (Photo)

From April 22nd to 23rd, our university held the 5th International Cultural Festival for International Students in China. The grand event, featuring a diverse cultural collision including artistic performances, a Water-Splashing Music Carnival, and an International Food Festival, attracted nearly 10,000 Chinese and international teachers and students from over 40 countries.  

On the 22nd, the opening ceremony of the International Cultural Festival was held at the Wanigui Garden on the Huajiang Campus. Relevant functional departments of our university, leaders representing the college, and relevant personnel from the Exit-Entry Administration Division of the Guilin Public Security Bureau attended the event. Gao Lanying, Dean of the College of International Exchange, delivered a speech and announced the opening. Wonderful programs, including traditional dances and custom performances from multiple countries, classic dramas, and internatinal students joined in singing Medley of Zhuang Mountian Folk Ballads, were presented in quick succession, followed by the Water-Splashing Music Festival.

On the 23rd, our university hosted an International Food Festival at Yiyuan Restaurant. Specialty foods from 34 countries and regions were displayed in sequence along the main aisle of the central canteen, accompanied by flash mob performances brought by international student art groups, creating an immersive multicultural experience for all teachers and students across the university.
