Our University Holds 2026 New Year’s Gala for International Students in China (Photos)

From December 29 to 30, our university held the “Galloping across Five Continents, Hearts Gathering at Guidian” 2026 New Year’s Gala for international students in China. The gala was set up with dual venues in Nanning and Guilin. Relevant person-in-charge from the College of International Exchange and the Nanning Research Institute attended the event, attracting more than 1,000 Chinese and foreign teachers and students to watch it together.

Gao Lanying, Dean of the College of International Exchange, sent New Year greetings to all international students, encouraging them to become explorers in their professional fields, act as young envoys of cultural exchange, and inject new momentum into the internationalization development of the university.

The Nanning venue featured ASEAN customs. Fashion shows, recitations, and knowledge quizzes by students from Thailand, Cambodia, Indonesia, and other countries were vivid embodiments of cultural mutual learning. The Guilin venue highlighted the gathering of five continents. Students from Laos, Vietnam, Morocco, Nigeria, Kazakhstan, and other countries presented programs such as singing and dancing, drama, and piano solo. Finally, Chinese and foreign students danced together, showcasing a moving picture of youth friendship and the blending of diverse cultures.
