College Of International Exchange Holds Campus Safety Education Meeting for International Students in China in the Spring Semester of 2026

To continuously strengthen the management and service work for international students in China, respond to student’ concerns in a timely manner, and build a solid campus safety defense line, on the afternoon of April 3, 2026, the College of International Exchange held the Campus Safety Education Meeting for all international students in China in the spring semester in batches at the Huajiang Campus and the Nanning Research Institute. Counselors for international students in China from the College and more than 1,000 students from over 40 countries attended the meeting.
The meeting unfolded around three major themes: Chinese laws and regulations and school discipline, holiday safety, and network security. The content covered laws and regulations related to international students, campus behavioral norms, traffic safety, fire safety, prevention of telecommunications fraud, and civilized internet use. Through a combination of case analysis and theoretical explanation, the meeting guided international students to enhance their sense of rules, improve their self-protection and risk prevention capabilities, and provided clear and practical behavioral guidance and safety guarantees for their study and life in China.
This meeting not only strengthened the legal awareness and self-protection capabilities of international students but also embodied the College’s work philosophy of managing and educating people, as well as serving and educating people. The College will continue to pay attention to the dynamics of international students, optimize management and services, and strive to create a safer, more orderly, inclusive, and harmonious international campus environment.
