项目介绍

桂林电子科技大学商学院

桂林电子科技大学商学院前身为桂林电子工业学院财经与法律系,成立于1993年,2000年更名为管理系,2006年学校更名为桂林电子科技大学,学院更名为管理学院,2009年7月正式更名为桂林电子科技大学商学院。2018年,商学院加入AACSB,成为该组织的 会员单位。

商学院目前拥有会计学、财务管理、市场营销、人力资源管理、电子商务、工业工程、金融工程、信息管理与信息系统等8个本科专业;拥有全国唯一一个数字经济本科专业;拥有管理科学与工程、理论经济学2个一级学科硕士点,企业管理、产业经济学2个二级学科硕士点,工商管理硕士(MBA)、会计硕士(MPAcc)2个专业硕士点,其中,管理科学与工程是广西省重点学科、博士点建设学科。

商学院现有教职工120人,其中专任教师105人;专任教师中,教授18人,副教授45人,博士42人;硕士生导师49人,博士生导师2人,教育部高等学校工业工程类专业教学指导委员会委员1名,广西优秀中青年骨干教师1名,广西百人计划获得者1人培养工程获得者1名。商学院现有在校生3100余人,其中本科生2500余人,硕士研究生近500人,来华留学生100余人。

商学院拥有广西省级人文社科重点研究基地1个、广西省级智库1个,省级实验教学示范中心1个等平台。近5年来,学院获得国家自然科学基金、国家社科基金等国家级项目10余项,省部级项目20余项,发表学术论文300余篇。获得广西社科一等奖1项,广西教学成果奖5项,研究报告获得省级领导批示2份。

商学院始终坚持“厚基础、强实践”的人才培养理念,发挥学校在电子信息领域的学科优势,积极培养拥有数字技能和管理技能的复合型人才。学生毕业后受到用人单位的好评,历届毕业生一次就业率都保持在95%以上。

商学院还不断扩宽国际视野,推进开放办学。通过邀请国外专家学者来校学术交流、选派优秀教师参加国际会议或出国进修、参与实施中外合作办学项目、积极招收留学生等举措,促进了学院的国际化、扩大了学院的影响力。

桂林电子科技大学MBA教育中心

桂林电子科技大学2009年获国务院学位办批准,成为MBA教育办学单位。成立MBA教育中心挂靠在商学院。我校MBA教育始终坚持“正德 厚学 笃行 致新”的校训,以“助力广西、链接东盟、彰显特色”为使命,以“融理弘商 经世致用”为核心价值,依托全校优势教育资源开展MBA教育。

桂林电子科技大学MBA教育项目依托学校电子信息学科优势,面向东盟、北部湾经济区、信息产业和现代制造业,实施“差异化、特色化和品牌化”培养战略,培养具备信息技术背景,拥有战略眼光、国际视野、领导能力和高度社会责任感的优秀职业经理人。

我校MBA项目以中文授课为主,课程设置兼顾国际化视野和本土化思维,授课教师全部为副教授、教授,博士占比50%。MBA项目力邀诸多国内外顶级学者、企业高层为学生开设选修课、校企课程、讲座等以丰富学生学习体验,扩展学生知识与经验。MBA教育鼓励并引导学生在校期间通过丰富的职业发展论坛、学术论坛、社会公益活动等形式,锻炼提高自身沟通、合作等软性技能与领导力,从而实现MBA利益相关者价值最大化。我校MBA教育以广西为原点,借助广西背靠大西南、毗邻粤港澳、面向东南亚的区位优势,依托学校信息化优势学科背景,融合数字经济与管理学科发展,打造项目核心竞争力。

我校一贯重视过程管理,坚持认真办学,积极加强与全国各MBA院校交流,MBA品牌得到社会广泛认可。我校获得中国MBA联盟、中国MBA发展论坛、中国MBA华南联盟等各级各类诸多表彰。商学院领导、老师获中国MBA联盟领袖年会“最受欢迎商学院教授奖”、“MBA培养院校卓越领袖奖”,商学院获第12届中国MBA联盟领袖年会“十佳特色商学院奖”,MBA联合会获第12届中国MBA联盟领袖年会“十佳MBA联合会奖”,诸多MBA学员获“优秀MBA联合会主席”、“创业新星”、“中国MBA十大贡献”“中国MBA新秀”等表彰与荣誉。

我校MBA教育虽然年轻,但是拥有旺盛的生命力。地处广西壮族自治区,虽属西部民族落后地区,但是经过十年薪火相传,MBA教育已经植根于山水甲天下的桂林,开枝散叶为地方经济乃至中国经济发展培养高级管理人员。

 

Introduction of Business School of Guiling University of Electronic Technology.

The Business School of Guilin University of Electronic Technology, formerly known as the Department of Finance and Law of Guilin Institute of Electronic Technology, was founded in 1993 and renamed the Department of Management in 2000. In 2006, the University was renamed Guilin University of Electronic Technology, and thus the school was changed to the School of Management. In 2018, The Business School joined the AACSB as a member of the organization.

The Business School currently has eight undergraduate programs, including accounting, financial management, marketing, human resource management, e-commerce, industrial engineering, financial engineering, information management and information systems. It has two first-level academic master programs (management science and engineering and theoretical economics), two second-level academic master programs (business management and industrial economics), and two professional master programs (MBA and MPAcc). Among those programs, management science and engineering is the key program of Guangxi Province and Doctoral Program Construction.

There are 120 faculty members in the school, 105 of whom are full-time teachers. Among the full-time faculty, there are 18 professors, 45 associate professors and 42 doctors. The school also has 49 master advisors, two doctoral advisors, one member of Advisor Committee of Industrial Engineering Major of Ministry of Education, one “Outstanding Guangxi Junior Teacher,” one Guangxi “A Hundred People Plan” winner, and one training project winner. Business School now has more than 3,100 students, including approximately 2,500 undergraduates, nearly 500 postgraduates and about 100 international students in China.

The Business School has one Guangxi provincial key research base for humanities and social sciences, one Guangxi provincial think tank, one provincial experimental teaching demonstration center. In the past five years, the college has won more than 10 national projects such as National Natural Science Fund and National Social Science Fund, conducted more than 20 provincial and ministerial projects, and published more than 300 academic papers. It has won one first prize of Guangxi social science competitions and five Guangxi teaching awards. It also has two research reports approved by provincial leaders.

The Business School has always adhered to the concept of "solid foundation and strong practice,” giving full play to the advantages in the field of electronic information, and actively cultivating inter-disciplinary talents with digital and management skills. Therefore, students from Business School are well received by their employers after graduation. The employment rate of all the graduates is above 95%

The Business school is also expanding their international horizons and opening up to the world. The school have taken many actions intending to make itself more international and influential, including inviting foreign experts and scholars to the school for academic exchanges, sending outstanding teachers to attend international conferences or go abroad for further study, implementing international cooperative education projects, and recruiting international students.

Introduction to MBA Education Program of Guilin University of Electronic Technology

MBA Center of Guilin University of Electronic Technology is attached to the Business School. Its MBA education uses the advantageous educational resources of the school, adhering to the school motto of “morality, knowledge, practice, and innovation.” It also takes the mission of “assisting Guangxi, connecting to ASEAN, and highlighting its features” and considers “integrating science and technology into business and being pragmatic” as its core value. 

Combining an international perspective with a localization ideology, our MBA Project is implemented mainly in Chinese, inviting associate professors and professors (The proportion of the Doctoral Degree accounts for 50 percent) to give lectures. The Project has endeavored to invite many domestic and overseas top scholars and enterprise seniors to launch optional courses and university-enterprise curricula and to give lectures in order to enrich students’ learning experience and increase students’ knowledge and experience. The MBA Project encourages and guides students to improve their soft skills and leaderships, such as individual communications and cooperation, through abundant vocational development forums, academic forums and social public-benefit activities during the university period, thus the value of MBA stakeholders being maximized. By virtue of the regional advantage of Guangxi Province, next to the Southwest China, adjacent to Guangdong, Macao and Hong Kong and facing to the Southeast Asia, and based on the background of informatization advantage discipline, our MBA Project regards the Guangxi Province as the original point, integrates the digital economy and manages the discipline developments in order to nurture its core competitiveness.

Our university has attached consistent importance to process managements, persisted in conscientious school running and actively enhanced communications with other MBA universities around China. Our MBA Project has been generally accepted by the society. Our university has already been awarded by many organizations, such as MBA Union of China, China MBA Development Forum and South-China MBA Union. Besides, our leaders and teachers from the Business School have received the “Most Popular Professor Award of the Business School” and the “Excellent Leader Award of MBA University” at the MBA Union of China Leaders Annual Conference. At the 12th Annual Conference of MBA Union of China Leaders, our Business School has won the “Top 10 Excellent Featured Business School Award” and our MBA Federation has won the “Top 10 Excellent MBA Federation Award”. Many MBA students have also won awards, such as “Excellent MBA Federation Chairman”, “New Entrepreneur Star”, “Top 10 MBA Contributions of China” and “New MBA Star of China”.

Although being launched late, our MBA Project boasts a vigorous vitality. Our university is located in the Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region, which is poorly-developed in the west China. However, the ten-year stable development witnesses that our MBA Project has been deeply rooted in Guilin (its landscape stands out in China) and cultivated high-level management staffs for local and national economic developments in various manners.

The goal of MBA education

Based on the advantages of the electronic information of our school, we implement the training strategy of “differentiation, specialization and branding” for ASEAN, northern gulf economic zone, information industry, and modern manufacturing industry. We will also cultivate excellent professional managers with an information technology background, strategic vision, international horizon, leadership ability, and a high sense of social responsibility.
